The seven days of the week are associated with planets and each planet is associated with a color. The planet Venus is linked to Friday and the color green. Just like its namesake, the Roman Goddess of Love, Venus is connected to magical topics such as love, romance, birth and fertility. Green is also associated with the Heart Chakra so it is no coincidence that in many areas of the world, we have ritualized practicing love and romance on this day.
So, on this sacred day of love, wear something green (or pink), carry a green or pink related gemstone (emerald, rose quartz, etc.) or place a pink rose on your desk or coffee table to remind yourself to be open to receivng and giving more love. Don't forget to show yourself some love also!
