A Celebration of Life

In a few days I will celebrate my 5oth birthday! I know many women will read this post and cringe. They will not believe that I am shouting to the world that I am half a century old. Well, that is exactly what I'm doing.

I choose to see my 50 years of experience as a valuable asset instead of a liability. I choose not to define myself and my self worth based on a social system that punishes people for gaining age, wisdom and experience. I choose to acknowledge the past, embrace the present and anticipate the future (especially the new benefits I'm going to get through my AARP membership...lol...that's right, I'm a card-carrying member now) as I would not be who I am without my experiences!

As I continue my journey toward eternal happiness and achieving my life's destiny of love and service to others, I'm taking a moment to celebrate this milestone in a life-long filled with beauty, peace and gratitude. Now pass the Cabernet and let's party! :>).

Namaste!
