Girfriends EnTourAge Event: Biltmore Estate Candlelight Christmas Tour

Enjoy a women's only getaway to Asheville, NC with the EnTourAge during the first event in our "Affordable Adventures" series...

At roughly 174,240 square feet, Biltmore House of Biltmore Estate, is the largest private home in America. This magnificent 250-room French Renaissance-style château - built by George Vanderbilt - contains 250 rooms including 65 fireplaces, 34 bedrooms, an indoor pool, and a bowling alley. The estate features lush, beautiful gardens and America's most visited winery sitting on 8,000 in the Western North Carolina mountains.

This grand estate is overflowing with priceless treasures. See paintings by some of the world's most renowned artists including Renoir, Sargent and Whistler. There is a gaming table and chess set once owned by Napoleon. Ming Dynasty goldfish bowls decorate the 10,000 volume library. Fifty exquisite Persian and Oriental rugs cover the marble and oak floors. Fine 16th-century tapestries adorn the walls.

We'll enjoy a candlelight evening tour of the estate - much like it would have been lit when the Vanderbilts lived there. This includes viewing the extravagant Christmas decorations at the estate. The next day we'll also tour the estate and gardens during daylight and enjoy lunch at one of the restaurants on the grounds. Get all the details and reserve your space here.
