11:11

Today's date is significant for a number of reasons:
  • It encompasses the master number, 11:11 (master numbers are highly charged and require time, maturity, and great effort to integrate into one's personality).
  • Eleven (1+1 =2) encourages us as individuals to harness our leadership qualities while remembering that we are only a small part of the "we" in the world.
  • November 11, 2009 also add up to a six (11+11+2+9 = 33, reduced to a single digit equals 6) which represents the energy accountability, balance, home and family.
Depending on whether or not you are living up to your full spiritual potential, today's energy can promote clarity or delusion and as far as I have been able to ascertain through my research, it is the first time (in our lifetime) the master number has shown up as a date.

So, on this spiritually significant day, here are a few thoughts to ponder...

~ Follow your instincts and enhance your unique creativity
~ Take a close look at how you are living your life; strive for truth, honesty and accountability
~ Rise above pettiness and small-mindedness and embrace love and kindness
~ Watch your thoughts--be careful what you are putting out into the universe
~ This is a prime opportunity to have your thoughts and desires promptly manifest
~ Let go of past hurts and things that no longer serve you or bring you joy and peace
~ Unlock your true potential

I stumbled across a very interesting-looking book, "11:11, The importance of putting Jesus first in your life" by Haven D. Mankin.  This struck a cord with me as I have been making a conscious effort to spend the first hour of every day in prayer/worship so I'm eager to read this book.  I have downloaded the book and took a quick peek but have have not yet read it. Click here to download the free eBook. If you get around to reading it before I do, I would love to hear your thoughts. I invite you to come back here and leave your comments to this post and the book!
